Twin Lakes, Colorado

Twin Lakes is located right outside of Leadville, Colorado, the highest incorporated city in the United States, sitting at 10,158 ft. Leadville is home to our favorite pizza place on earth, High Mountain Pies, as well as a variety of other antique stores, handmade clothing shops, and several weathered, 1800’s saloons. Our campsite felt like it was on top of the world, with a perfect view of the Twin Lakes and Mount Elbert directly behind us.
